Working Dogs For Warriors is looking for sponsors interested in partnering with us in our mission to support the “Warriors” in our communities. Are you ready to join Team Working Dogs?
Our sole mission at WDFW is to support our Warriors by providing service dogs and training to veterans and first responders. These everyday Hero’s have lived a life of public service. They work tirelessly to ensure our safety and well-being from threats - at home and abroad. Unfortunately, these jobs often lead to development of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD).
At WDFW, we work to combat the effects of PTSD through K9 companions. In addition to the relationship developed between the handler and the K9, a family is formed among the handlers. United through their common experience with trauma and tragedy, they are able to find solace in each other’s company. Through the dog training, companionship with their peers, and participating in our outreach programs, we are able to ease their daily burdens and assist them in re-engaging with the “civilian world”. Your support will allow us to continue our mission. In turn, these individuals can continue to serve proudly in our communities.
Thank you and Semper Fidelis,
Michael Welsh
